From the cold shores of New England to the even colder Bavarian Alps, I can’t seem to escape the cold. I’m bound and determined that someday soon I’ll live on the warm beaches of California. Until then, I love traveling, feel very fortunate to be in Germany, and plan to see as much of Europe as possible!
I think army broadcasting is an awesome job. In college I studied journalism and political science, and then lived in Israel for two years to study the Middle East, Arabic, and Hebrew. I became an army broadcaster in 2007 to see more of the world and get great job experience. After basic and AIT, I spent three years at Fort Drum as the broadcaster for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team and deployed to Iraq in 2009-2010. Now I’m at AFN Bavaria in Germany, starting off in radio news and looking forward to doing my best here and learning as much as I can.
