From the sunny beaches of Florida to the Bavarian Alps in Germany, Mrs. Honey Shewbert has enjoyed and grown to love the time she’s spent in the Army and working with the Military. “I can’t wait to see what’s next!”  She started experimenting with film and photography as a child and continued learning about it through college and into the Military. Now at AFN Bavaria, where she calls home, she works as the station Senior Producer. "I decided to stay here (after ETSing on September 12, 2007) because the people are great, the food is great, and what can I say, I LOVE EUROPE!" She dreams of traveling the world, learning new exciting things, and enjoying the small things in life. Mrs. Honey Shewbert says she enjoys the sand (in short supply around here), the ocean (ditto), travel, adventure, and her best friend and husband, David.  Mrs. Honey Shewbert is the 2006 winner of the prestigious Department of Defense, Thomas Jefferson Award and 3 1^st Place Department of the Army Keith L. Ware Awards.  She’s contributed to AFN Bavaria winning 3 Thomas Jefferson Awards, 4 1^st Place DoA Keith L. Ware Awards, 2 2^nd Place DoA Keith L. Ware Awards, 2 3^rd Place DoA Keith L. Ware Awards, and 3 AFN Europe Station of the Year Awards.
