SGT Kenia Kraus
SGT Kenia Kraus (she’s not German) born in Miami, Fl (and no, she’s not Cuban) has arrived from the 101st Airborne Division where she spent the last 2.5 years affectionately known as “the camera girl” for the 3rd BCT “Rakkasans” Public Affairs Office. SGT Kraus spent 2005-2006 deployed all over Iraq with Task Force Rakkasans documenting missions and ceremonies for the brigade’s historical archive.  She created several music videos and mini documentaries for the wives and families that remained stateside waiting patiently upon the return of their deployed loved ones.  “I’ll never forget working alongside some of the greatest unsung heroes of OIF and the stateside hearts I was able to touch and inform through multimedia.”  In closing, SGT Kraus would like to give a shout out to Major Tom Bryant and MAJ Steve Harms (Ranger Rak Judge).  “Thanks for all the laughs and encouragement, Sirs. I wouldn’t have made it this far without you.”
